Polymer clay canes are made with the Millifiori method of caning, an ancient glass technique adapted to clay. It is like making a sushie roll, different shapes are rolled together to create a picture inside a tube, which is sliced to make jewelry.

Inspired by nature and magic, Arbel's work is a mix of nature meets fantasy, with a healthy dose of craftsmanship. Her style is very organic and flexible, allowing creativity to flourish. She has a BFA from the SF Art Institute a is a teacher on PBS.
