Anderson's Famous Water Computer

How do computers add numbers? We will show you how, using a mechanical computer that uses only water as the power source. Follow the digital logic operations gate by gate as your input ripples through the tubes to compute the answer.

What inspired you to make this project?:
It's a twenty year quest that started as a fun sideline when I was teaching my own kids how computers work. I have dabbled with it a few weekends a year since then, and finally last fall I had the time to get it to a working stage to show others in a formal setting.
