The Chabot Telescope Makers is a public workshop in Oakland California associated with the East Bay Astronomical Society and the Chabot Space and Science Center. For the last 80 years, our workshop has provided a space for building telescopes.

Chabot Telescope Makers

The Chabot Telescope Makers are a telescope making guild that has its home at the Chabot Space and Science Center. We meet every Friday night in Oakland, and are one of the longest running telescope workshops in the world.

Center for the Advancement of Science in Space Showcase Maker

For 20 years, more than 230 people from 18 countries have lived and worked aboard the ISS advancing scientific knowledge and new tech. The ISS has hosted more than 2,400 research projects from over 103 countries. ISS National Lab brings you there!
