Outer space has intrigued humanity for ages. This seminar focuses on space exploration, specifically Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner, carrying astronauts to the International Space Station, and latest Spacesuit technology. Dr. Manyapu will focus areas in the STEM fields for students interested in space.
Kavya Manyapu
Dr. Manyapu holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She received her doctorate degree in Aerospace Sciences from the University of North Dakota where she worked on novel, patent pending next-generation spacesuit technologies.
