Lisa Winter

A roboticist since childhood, Lisa has over 20 years experience designing and building robots. She has competed in Robot Wars and BattleBots competitions since 1996. Lisa was recently named one of the top 25 women in robotics you need to know about by Robohub. She has been inventing and rapid prototyping connected devices since the beginning of the IoT movement, and in 2017 helped launch Fisher Price's first and only wearable baby monitor. Lisa currently leads a hardware team at Huawei. In her free time she mentors high school students in robotics, and is working with a team to make and deploy an orangutan tracking device aimed at saving the species.

He is also a TV host, starring in various engineering and science shows for Discovery Channel, including Punkin Chunkin, How Stuff Works, and Catch It Keep It. An avid maker, Mike spends his spare time tinkering with remote-control aircraft, doing amateur woodworking, and attempting to cook the perfect pizza.
