Torqueri XIII is a 22' tall stainless steel sculpture, made by planishing, This is one in a series of large scale steel work by Oakland artist Bruce Beasley. Torqueri XIII will make its public debut at Maker Faire Bay Area 2018.

Bruce Beasley

Bruce Beasley is one of the nation's most renowned sculptors. His work is in the permanent collections of 35 art museums around the world, and he has created 50 monumental sculpture installations internationally. Bruce was born in 1939. He was the first sculptor to use advanced computer 3d modeling for sculpture, and he is one of the pioneers of the use of 3d printing for sculpture. Bruce has developed large-scale 3d printing for bronze casting, and also pioneered new techniques in acrylic casting.
