Public Lab Community Science Space

Public Lab is an open community science project (PublicLab.org) that anyone can join. Makers from across our international network will be leading hands-on activities to build cardboard microscopes, paper spectrometers, and "humming" water sensors.

What inspired you to make this project?:
Most communities lack access to the tools and techniques needed to participate in decision-making, especially when facing environmental hazards that affect people -- we envision a Do-It-Yourself approach to collecting environmental knowledge.
