Mary Tawfall lives and works in Los Angeles and Joshua Tree, CA. Inspired by textiles, pop culture, landscape typographies, and the body. She meticulously draws by hand patterns, shapes, and illustrations on clay exploring the intersection of process, repetition, form, hand, and thought.

I hand-build ceramics, hand paint all of my designs, and fire all of my work in kilns. It's slow and tedious, but I love it. I create small-scaled vessels and functional wares in stoneware and porcelain.
