Aaron Gregory
Gregory is a scientific illustrator focusing on marine biology. He is also a working biologist/aquarist, maintaining high-end aquariums through San Francisco, drawing from a life time of experience in the industry, with in which he was a tropical fish store owner in Sacramento, and a professional SCUBA diver at San Francisco public institutions such as the Aquarium of the Bay and California Academy of Sciences. His illustrations have been published by such imprints as Bloomsbury Publishing; on the pages of their recent release, Spirals In Time: The Secret Life and Curious Afterlife of Seashells, written by Dr. Helen Scales. His work also been featured in natural history museums in San Francisco and Houston, TX, and in collectable art posters for the San Francisco Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. Gregory brings his vast knowledge and love of marine-biology and paleontology to his extremely detailed and accurate illustrations of marine life, both living and extinct, creating one-of- a-kind designs for Cotton Crustacean’s American made tee shirts, which have found a loyal following all over the world.
