Sound Designer Kyrsten Mate joins us to talk about her extensive and diverse background in sound design working on projects ranging from animated Pixar films and superhero sci-fi extravaganzas to hard-hitting David Fincher tales. Her most recent project is Sound Design for Ready Player One.
Kyrsten Mate
Kyrsten Mate of Skywalker Sound is experienced in all aspects of audio post production; including sound design, effects recording, sound editing, and the final mixing process. As well as being a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, many luminaries in the directing world have crossed her path; including Anthony Minghella, Brad Bird, Steven Spielberg, and John Waters.
