I will discuss books and show how books were made before the invention of printing. I'll cut a pen from a feather and write with it. Then I'll sew a book onto cords, and lace wooden boards onto it. Leather covers the spine and part of the wood.
Nicholas Yeager
Nicholas Yeager has been studying the history of making books since 1976. He has been a bookbinder, conservator, calligrapher rare book librarian and book arts instructor across the country. He writes and speaks about history of the book frequently.
