What inspired you to make this project?:
Part of our 501(c)(3) mission is education and we wanted to share our love for these old machines and demonstrate to the public how and why they work. We also see the importance of teaching young makers about the origins of our technological roots. For the casting, necessity is the mother of invention and we found we needed to fabricate parts in the restoration process of our antique equipment.
