Do you love cars? Does the kid in your family or the kid in you dream of building your own car? This father/son presentation will teach you how to build and operate the “DAYZDAWG” - a kid-assembled, customizable, pedal-powered car made out of pvc, bike parts and household items.

Nate Vemuri

Nate Vemuri is a 6th-grader at Willow Glen Middle School in San Jose, CA. A natural maker, Nate has had a lifelong fascination with cars and vehicles. He was a member of Odyssey of the Mind Regional Award-Winning Teams in 2015 and 2016. He is currently a member of the Willow Glen Middle School Robotics Team. In his spare time, Nate enjoys driving his car - the DAYZDAWG - and takes coding classes.

Umesh Vemuri

Umesh Vemuri is a Director at Google Cloud. Umesh has worked as a software developer, solutions architect and CTO for consulting and technology firms. Chasing after his two kids - Nate and Jasmine - he also is an Odyssey of the Mind Coach, soccer coach and dance dad. Umesh received degrees in Computer Science and Information Systems from James Madison University and George Washington University.
