Smart Bullet
Maker Faire Bay Area 2018
May 18th-20th
‘Smart Bullet’ targets the issue of gun violence with new IOT technologies, using several electronic components with an authorization system. Only authorized bullets can be fired. Ensuring the safety of society, guns will be used in a much safer way.
Rebecca Du
Rebecca Du is in 10th grade at Dougherty Valley High School. She actively volunteers within her community and is the secretary of PLAY Leadership’s Music Group. She first came up with the idea of the smart bullet and headed research and development.
Ronald Huang
Ronald Huang is in 11th grade at Monte Vista High School in Danville. He plays volleyball for his school’s varsity team. He is a registered member of Community Emergency Response Team in San Ramon Fire District.

I am a seventh grader at Harker School who enjoys doing math(AMC 8, AMC 10, etc) and computer science(USACO). I also sing and play the Chinese instrument named guzheng. In guzheng and singing, I have won multiple competitions in America and China.

Victoria Chen is a student at Philip Academy in Andover, MA.
Young Makers Showcase Maker
Young Makers are innovative and creative young people who have been working on a youth-chosen, open-ended project to showcase at the Maker Faire. These kids come from maker clubs, schools, and sometimes garages from all over the bay area and the world.
