Start Making! Co-author, Danielle Martin, teams up with Bridget Rigby, Director of Maker Camp, to share how their collaboration will allow kids to engage in Maker-inspired activities, build skills, and develop their Maker mindsets this summer through our global camp network.

Bridget loves all things making + camp, and can often be found wearing a feather glue gun boa – the ultimate tool for the 21st century innovator! She developed her passions & purpose through leadership roles at Galileo Learning & The Tech Museum of Innovation, and fully believes in the power of Maker learning to gear people’s mindsets towards creative problem solving, collaboration, & innovation.

Danielle Martin

Danielle Martin served as knowledge manager and first created and led the Start Making! program across the global Clubhouse Network, after obtaining a masters from MIT. Now she currently consults on curricula, evaluation, and professional development for educators and expert volunteers on inclusively engaging youth in STEM explorations, with partners like Maker Ed and Fab Foundation.
