A huge robotic chandelier weaves an expanding and contracting web of cables, which form a very large elastic soap membrane. Beautiful patterns can be caused to form, including HUGE bubbles.

Gordon Kirkwood

Gordon Kirkwood came to the bay area to be an Artist in Residence at Autodesk's Pier 9 workshop, and presently works as a robotics engineer at SRI international. He enjoys playing cello, high voltage art, bicycle touring, and of course bubbles!
