Make the August 21, 2017 solar eclipse one to remember. Discover DIT (Do It Together) tools to view the sun safely, from a quick paper projector to a cardboard eclipse-in-a-box, plus STEAM sun science activities for makers of all ages, courtesy of the NASA-funded Girl Scout Stars project.

Jessica Henricks

As part of Girl Scouts of Northern California's STEM/STEAM team, Jessica works on space science and maker experiences for K-12 Girl Scouts and adult volunteers. She's been around Bay Area Maker Faires since 2007, offering analog making at booths like Maker Camp, The Tech Museum, and Exploratorium. She holds a BFA in Sculpture from RISD and an EdM from Harvard.
