Born and raised in Montana, Peter moved the bay area to create art and follow his passion of brewing beer. Having built East Brother Beer Co. in Richmond in late 2016, he finds pleasure in creating abstract projects designed to dispell limitations.
This off-grid, mobile hot tub allows 5-8 participants to soak in hot water where they would least expect it. Everything fits on a utility cart, so the only limitation is your ability to pull it and having access to a water source.
What inspired you to make this project?:
A friend shared a video with me that showcased a hammock that doubled as a hot tub. I loved the project, but when I looked at the components, I was baffled that they were charging almost $3k for the powerhouse. I emailed them, saying that I thought they were charging too much for it, and they responded that I should build my own... So I did. It's cheaper, more powerful, and instead of just heating up 50 gallons of water to 104, it can heat 500 gallons. Who wants to chill in a hot tub by themselves?
