Monica is a native of Mexico City, received her MFA in sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design, she is the founder and creator of Don Bugito, an edible insects food project based in San Francisco, CA.
Don Bugito is a San Francisco based food company that offers planet-friendly protein snacks, featuring delicious edible insects in savory and sweet flavors. Recently opened its urban farming operations in Oakland, CA .
What inspired you to make this project?:
To create a more sustainable world and to change the way we eat and relate to food.
