Livermore is a major hub for garage built airplanes. Robot Garden is working with this community of makers by renting hangar space and sponsoring Aviation Explorer Post #997, a coed Boy Scout program for youth age 14-20. Rocketry, programmable UAV's, radio communications, flight lessons, fun.

As a geek dad with two daughters, I love creating fun learning activities. Aviation & aerospace offer near limitless opportunities to explore STEM activities and careers. There's something about airplanes and rockets that make learning more exciting. Recognizing that most kids like to participate and learn in groups, I worked with Robot Garden makerspace to start an Aviation Explore Post.
