With a background in IT and electronics I enjoy everything tech and making things with open source hardware and software. My main focus is home automation, DIY drones, and IoT items and sharing and collaborating with others.
You too can make a smart home with open source tools and hardware. Automate your lights, switches, garage doors, TV, BBQ and cat feeders with Raspberry Pi, Arduino and other wireless protocols and voice control.
What inspired you to make this project?:
Many home automation stuff is closed source and there are competing products that don't always work together. So I want to demonstrate one of options for creating your own controller and creating your own sensors and connecting to other standards in home automation.
