As robots swiftly transition from appliances into collaborators, engineers will need to design them with human interaction in mind. Acclaimed roboticist Ben Hylak will explain the process of making collaborative robots from both personal experience and cutting edge research.

Benjamin Hylak

Benjamin Hylak is an award-winning Maker, acclaimed roboticist and one of "20 under 20" STEAM Innovators recognized by Huffington Post. Ben is also the creator of MAYA, a telepresence robot for the elderly, which earned world recognition and a trip to the White House, and ALAIR, a budget assisted living robot. In addition to research, Ben has received internships from both SpaceX and Google.
