Cardboard Arcade + MaKey MaKey + Scratch = Awesome!
Maker Faire Bay Area 2017
Inspired by Caine’s Arcade, students from Black Pine Circle School invites you to play our cardboard arcade games… and build some of your own! See how we use MaKey MaKey and Scratch to add to our cardboard, foil, and duct tape creations!
What inspired you to make this project?:
Wanting to bring the Next Generation Science Standards & more tech integration into the classroom, Caine's Arcade, and the Lawrence Hall of Science. When I asked the kids in my Maker Club what project they wanted to apply with for Maker Faire, they enthusiastically decided on the cardboard arcade again because "it is the most interactive"! (as compared to some of the paper circuit or CNC-demo stuff we've done.
