Valerie is a play therapist for children and the key organizer of the Consciousness Hacking meetup. She's given multiple talks about increasing emotional intelligence and empathy.

What inspired you to make this project?:
It's always been my mission to help young girls and women to see their capabilities to create anything. It brought me excitements to find overlaps among "toys", "engineering", and "fashion". "Toys", like K'nex, symbolize the process of making things that are unique to an individual. "Engineering" is the art of building a structure that requires us to utilize basic knowledge in science. "Fashion" helps us explore ways to express ourselves in order to find/gather communities of like-minds.
