Spring Hill Academy's maker program created a "Peace Tree" Every inch of the tree is constructed by 1st - 6th graders.
Our students plasma cut, welded and forged the tree out of recycled metal. Then connect, power and code interactive LED lights.

Spring Hill Academy's maker program was inspired by the 2105 maker faire. Teachers like Diana Planson work with students from 1st -6th grade. Students at Spring Hill are learning to build with all materials from metal fabrication to computer coding.
