A Ply Yourself combines a photo of the subject with audio of their name to create one of a kind portraits in baltic birch plywood.
What inspired you to make this project?:
Much of my work involves the layering of different levels of information. In creating this work I set out to create a pleasing aesthetic that would also contain levels of meaning not easily interpereted by those without knowledge of the piece, giving the owner a more private and personal connection to their portrait.
