Electric Seance

What inspired you to make this project?:
In October of 2016, I wanted to make the coolest, most topical Halloween prop I could think of: a Stranger Things light alphabet. It didn’t matter that I’d never done any hardware projects before; I was going to do it! And so I did. In making it, I realized that the project had a lot more potential than just a simple Halloween prop: I wanted to make a stand-alone, interactive experience. As a result, I have taught myself a lot more about electronics and hardware, and made the theme more generally recognizable.
