It all began in 2008 when Rick published his article on Compressed Air Rockets for Make: Magazine volume 15. Since then, Air Rocket Works brought rocket fun all over the world through launch events and kits.

Rick runs the Maker Lab at Steindorf STEAM School in San Jose, CA. He's a contributing writer to Make:, author of Make: Planes, Gliders and Paper Rockets and co-founder of AirRocketWorks.com. Along with his wife and kids, loves all things that fly.
