Project Hathor is a 2kV ring launcher. It's a form of impulse generator, which is used to launch hard drive platters into the sky using an electromagnetic pulse.

Jeff Rosowski is a hacker and geek of all trades. He is the president of the Las Vegas hackerspace, SYN Shop, and is the creator of robots, steam punk goggles, and high voltage projects, such as Tesla coils and impulse generators.
