Explorabox

Explorabox is a volunteer run non-profit comprised mainly of scientists and engineers in the bay area. We design, build, and donate hands-on science kits for kids and will be showcasing fun, interactive exhibits at our both. Check us out!

What inspired you to make this project?:
Helping kids. We have a serious educational gap in our country, the bay area shows it even more prevalently. The quality of education in our public schools varies SO much, and a lot of our lower-income schools are being left behind.

We want to get kids inspired about science, hands-on exploration and learning so that they can be empowered to use resources available to them (that they may not know about). Our organization focuses on outreach, especially to under-privelaged schools.
