A student's experiences in a strong maker program, and how she applied lessons learned from that program to classes without the same framework for hands-on learning, through creating and teaching Maker-based lessons in her English and Science classes.

Jane Yarnell

Jane Yarnell is currently a 9th grade student. She went to Black Pine Circle middle school, in Berkeley, CA, where she was active in the school maker club. She graduated from BPC in 2015, and is now going to El Cerrito High School. Her Maker interests are mostly in carpentry, 3D design and printing, and jewelry design.
