Rainbow Le Tech is an all girls 6th grade robotics team. Applying their STEM knowledge, they competed for the first time and won 1st place in the Innovation Solution, as well as the Global Innovation Award at the 2016 Silicon Valley FLL Trash Trek Championship. As part of their winning entry, the girls developed a patent-pending compostable chewing gum to reduce the burden on landfills.
