Start Making! engages young people all over the world in Maker-inspired activities. Come try a project and hear how we facilitate these starter activities in a Clubhouse, home, school, library, community center, after-school club, or makerspace, to stimulate discussion, curiosity, & confidence.

Danielle Martin served as knowledge manager & first created & led the Start Making! program across the global Network, after obtaining a masters from MIT. Now she manages programs at Team4Tech.org, advocating for 21st century education in underserved communities, by engaging U.S.-based technology volunteers to share design thinking solutions and tech in collaboration with community-based partners.

Alisha Panjwani

Alisha Panjwani is a designer & educator focused on storytelling, craft, wellness, play, & interactive technologies that foster participatory learning. She completed a masters in the Lifelong Kindergarten group at MIT Media Lab. Before, she worked with Project Vision, an international research initiative in India fostering creative cognitive architectures for youth in urban poor communities.
