I have been making things since I was 6 years old. I carved wood, I sewed clothing, I made jewelry, I wove baskets. In college, I studied traditional crafts with Baka Pygmies in Cameroon, street vendors in Costa Rica, and Blacksmiths in the Appalachian mountains. Now I design and make tools for people to wear and use.
