Thud Rumble re-imagined what a turntable and a mixer can do and started an entire cultural revolution. In the true essence of the DIY/maker spirit, Richard "DJ QBert" Quitevis and Ritche "Yogafrog" Desuasido helped launch the birth of break records with Dirtstyle Records; designed the modern DJ mixer that eventually became the industry standard; and founded Thud Rumble as an independent innovation network that would serve as a blueprint for many DJ companies to follow.
Ritche "Yogafrog" Desuasido
Ritche "Yogafrog" Desuasido started scratching in a Daly City-based DJ crew called Second to None before hooking up with the Piklz in 1996. The Piklz officially disbanded in 2000, and Yoga Frog busied himself with Thud Rumble, the management/production/distribution company he co-founded with fellow Pikl DJ Q-Bert.
