Knitting machine hacks: from punchcards to Arduino

Maker Faire Bay Area 2016

May 20th-22nd

Exhibit Craft

Learn how knitting machines work, and how they are programmed - mechanically or electronically - to make patterns.
See how we're replacing the electronics of a vintage 1980’s knitting machine with an Arduino so it can be controlled from a computer.
