Our project is a shoe that uses a rangefinder, which uses ultrasonic sound waves to detect objects within a 10 feet radius Designed to help the blind navigate, this shoe uses a servo to send vibrations to the user to warn against objects in front of it.

Young Makers Showcase Maker

The Young Makers program brings together a community of young people with mentors and a space to make. In small clubs, participants work together to design and make a youth-chosen, open-ended project which they showcase at Maker Faire!
