Miguel Valenzuela is husband, artist & maker who daylights as an civil engineer. He is a graduate of Cal Poly's Bio Resource and Agricultural Engineering Program and lives in Norway with his wife Runi, and daughters Lily and Maia.
PancakeBot is a table top pancake printer that prints out pancakes in any shape or size you want. Using heat, timing and CNC technology, PancakeBot draws your favourite shape onto a griddle for you to enjoy.
What inspired you to make this project?:
I was inspired by my daughter Lily while I was reading an article by Bob Parks in Make Magazine, volume II that talked about prototyping with LEGO. I told Lily about it and she turned to her sister Maia and said, 'Papa is going to build a 'pamcake' machine out of LEGO!' thus PancakeBot was born!
