Synthetic biology allows us to design and build biological devices. Come learn how NASA and the Stanford-Brown iGEM team are using synthetic biology for space exploration! We will also show you how to extract DNA from strawberries to take home.
Stanford-Brown iGEM
Synthetic biologists from the NASA Ames Research Center work with undergraduate students on the Stanford-Brown International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) team each year under the guidance of Dr. Lynn Rothschild and Dr. Joseph Shih.
