A new makerspace in Oakland providing artistic and technological instruction, participation in, and exposure to, art, technology, and science. Open to the public, we are both a member-based workshop and creative community.
What inspired you to make this project?:
This project is an offshoot of the Amphora art car project, but is smaller and more easily transported. Amphora is a 10,000 LED sculpture built around a school bus.
Love Potion Collective was inspired by our experiences at Burning Man and the realization that anyone can create art. Through the LPC makerspace, we want to help other prospective makers and artists in their creative endeavors as well.
