Mira is a social robot that interacts with you using computer vision. Social interaction between humans can be very complex, but Mira explores how much can you simplify and stylize those interactions while preserving that human element.
Alonso Martinez
Alonso Martinez is a "Technical Director" in the Character Department at Pixar Animation Studios. He has worked on movies like "UP", the shorts "CarsToons", "Cars 2", and upcoming films like "Inside out" and "The Good Dinosaur".
Aaron Nathan
Aaron Nathan has been working in applied robotics for over 10 years. He’s run Cornell’s Autonomous Systems Lab, built and raced a full size autonomous vehicle in the DARPA Grand and Urban Challenges and built small scale soccer playing robots.
Vijay Sundaram
Vijay Sundaram is a product-minded entrepreneur with a crush on robotics. He previously started Found Software, where he designed and built a personal cloud search engine. Now he's working on personal robots at Tinker Studios.
