Try your hand strumming a cookie tin ukulele or sliding on a canjo. Brief introductory playing lessons will be offered, along with a selection of instrument parts to illustrate how to get started making your own instruments at home.

Bitten by the ukulele bug in 2005 by a wedding gift from a friend in Maui, I tried my hand making a cigar box uke. That fed a fever to make more instruments. Several cookie tins and a whole lot of hammering later I was on my way.
