Marty is the Chief Geek of Lumen Electronic Jewelry. He is a fourth generation mechanical engineer and really good at explaining techno-babel. He gets all aflutter seeing how much flashing light he can make with tiny amounts of power, like golf.

What inspired you to make this project?:
As engineers we see beauty not just in the natural world but also in mechanical objects. The elegant curve of a turbine blade, the deep thrum of a perfectly tuned engine, and the mesmerizing geometry of a circuit board have always fascinated us. With Lumen we strive to celebrate that beauty and bring it to you, in one of a kind beautifully twinkling LED jewelry. Plus every piece of blinky lumen jewelry is solar powered. No batteries to worry about, EVER.
