Balancing Android Robot (BAR)

Two-wheeled dynamically balancing robot constructed from an Android phone, an IOIO board, and additional sensors/actuators. An inexpensive do-it-yourself (DIY) smartphone based robotic platform using off-the-shelf components and open source software.

What inspired you to make this project?:
Our goal was to minimize both expenses and time spent on building robots, allowing users to focus on more fundamental research and robotic problems.
