Maker Faire Students Days are special preview days designed to give more opportunities for deeper engagement with Makers ahead of the weekend. It also offers the chance for school groups to plan field trips to visit the Faire during the school day.

Maker Faire is committed to supporting schools that would like to experience the Faire but may not be able to without some assistance. We offer a limited scholarship program that provides different levels of support to schools that need it in order to attend Maker Faire Student Days.

Help us understand more about your school and your request for assistance by completing this form. Please be as specific as possible with the information you provide, including the number of tickets you need, what type of support your school requires (tickets at no cost or further discount tickets, your exact budget for the field trip, etc.), if your school is a Title 1 school.

Please note that Maker Faire does not provide transportation to/from the Faire, nor cover those costs.

If you serve a low-income community, please share any available data with us to help us understand that community and its needs. For example, if you are a school group, please share the % of students enrolled in a free/reduced lunch programs, Title 1 status, etc.

Homeschools: we ask for a ratio of 1 adult chaperone per 5 students. College/University: if all members of your group are 18+ years olds, your group is exempt from the Chaperone requirement.
