Formula Slug - UCSC FSAE EV Chapter

Formula Slug is UCSC's Formula SAE Electric Racecar team. We design and engineer a Formula-style electric vehicle throughout the year for an international competition in Michigan in June. This past year we created FS-3, which finished in the top 20 of all vehicles at competition. Our team is composed of over a hundred members, providing students with the opportunity to learn engineering, manufacturing and business skills.

Formula Slug
Formula Slug is an engineering club at UC Santa Cruz. We design and build an electric formula-style race car to compete with in the Formula SAE electric competition against universities from across the world. Our self-taught team is open to all undergraduates and provides students with hands-on mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing, and business skills , through a passion for automotive engineering, paving the way for the engineers of tomorrow.
