Maker Faire Tashkent 2025

FabLab, Air Technologies & Robotics Lab

The Center For Youth Initiatives presents FabLab, Air Technologies & Robotics booth. Our booth showcases cutting-edge tools and creative projects designed to inspire the next generation of makers:

  • Robotic Arm (UFactory xArm 6): A lightweight, versatile arm demonstrating automation in action.
  • Educational Drones (DJI Tello & Tello Talent): Experience coding in Scratch and Python while flying user-friendly drones used in our drone programming school.
  • Plastic Recycling Project: See how we give new life to discarded bottles through FabLab’s sustainable fabrication initiative.
  • Skribot Robot: A versatile learning tool for programming in C++ and Scratch, helping students link robotics to everyday school subjects.

What Inspired You to Make This?

We were inspired by the vision of making advanced technologies accessible to young people in Uzbekistan. In lab of air technologies drones are hands-on tools that instantly capture attention, and by combining them with Scratch and Python, we create a fun pathway into coding. Our goal is to show that programming isn’t just abstract—it can make real objects move, fly, and respond, sparking curiosity and confidence in the next generation of creators. With plastic recycling project we wanted to show how everyday discarded bottles can be transformed into new, useful products through digital fabrication. By turning waste into opportunity, we aim to raise environmental awareness and inspire youth to see sustainability as a space for creativity and invention.
