Maker Faire Tashkent 2025

Magic Carousel

Home: Mirzo Ulugbek, Uzbekistan

Magic Carousel This model represents an ordinary carousel made from simple available items such as a motor (main element - an electric motor), LED necklace, cardboard with sparkles, small decorative stars, muline threads, a plastic container lid for creating a base, a cap for the base surface to create a certain volume and carousel simulation, simple tubes from which I made carousel seats and, of course, glue for gluing all parts one by one. The structure consists of a base (the entire model is held on a container), then a second base on which the central column is held, the top of the product, and seats that imitate real swings. I invested my electronics, design, and creativity skills in the project.

What Inspired You to Make This?

As an UI/UX, motion, graphic designer, I love everything unusually glossy and eye-catching, so several of my recent graphic works were focused on creating a park ticket (and on the main page was a carousel, the brightest element that caught people's attention when they looked at the ticket). And seeing that Maker Faire season had opened, I decided that my choice was clear - I would create a carousel from handy details (and most importantly, if you pay attention to my work, you can see that everything is colorful, glossy and bright - the reference point of which was the ticket).
