As a Senior UX Designer, I'm driven by a passion for understanding how things work and how they can be made better. This same curiosity fuels my artistic pursuits, where I explore a wide range of mediums to bring my creative visions to life. My hands-on projects are a direct reflection of my "maker" spirit, as I'm always looking for ways to go bigger and bolder with my art. Whether it's building a robot costume from cardboard or building a new mobile app, I'm dedicated to creating immersive and engaging experiences that blur the lines between technology, art, and entertainment.
What Inspired You to Make This?
My inspiration for this project comes from a desire to merge my passions for music and art with my professional background in UX design. I wanted to create an experience that was not just visually appealing, but also deeply interactive and meaningful. I've always been fascinated by the idea of transforming everyday materials into something extraordinary. Cardboard, in particular, is an accessible and humble material that, with a bit of creativity, can become so much more. This project was a chance to challenge myself to think bigger and bolder—to build a full-scale, functioning show out of something simple. Ultimately, the goal was to create a positive and memorable experience. By combining my own upbeat EDM music with a fun, robot character and a fully-realized cardboard world, I hope to inspire others to see the creative potential in their own surroundings and to get up and dance.
