Gemma Lascano is an empathy driven designer and educator working on translating dreams to reality through intentional, holistic approaches to design. They have 10 years of making experience adopting many prototyping techniques early in life through the hobby of Cosplay, evolving to a published and award winning figure in the field, tabling and guesting at events such as MagFest and AnimeNYC and acquiring brand deals with pioneer companies. Gemma works to apply their skills in a budding career in product design and education. At MakerFaire they hope to share their story with others and how they navigate the competitive and entrepreneurial sectors of this unique crossover of sectors!
